Explore all that Price Center has to offer on the very first Friday of the year - we’ve got something for everyone! Play a game of laser tag, watch a movie in the Plaza, enjoy some free food, or just come hang out with your fellow Tritons. This open house event will also include evening performances by America’s Got Talent magician Collins Key and Montreal musical trio Seoul.

 

Collins Key is a young magician that made his first TV appearance on Season 8 of America's Got Talent. He quickly won over the crowd, becoming the youngest magician to ever perform at Radio City Music Hall and also the first magic act to make it to the finale of America's Got Talent.

In addition, we will be having two amazing UCSD dance groups, Poptikz and Salty Bodies opening for this event! Don't miss it!

Our Comedy Fest is back and funnier than ever, with two whole nights of comedic entertainment. The first night will include two shows - at 8pm and 10:30pm - featuring a partnership with Family Weekend. Free food to snack on while you enjoy the show! Students who attend  the 8pm show get priority seating for the 10:30pm show; must be present by 10pm for second show priority seating. Don't forget your student ID to receive a wristband! Limited seating available.

Brandon Wardell is a Los Angeles based comedian. He started doing stand-up comedy in DC at 17, did it for 4 years, then moved to LA in 2014. Brandon is featured on Bob Odenkirk’s album, “Bob Odenkirk (feat. Brandon Wardell): Amateur Hour” and performed on his recent tour.

Growing up in the Seattle suburbs, brothers David and Andrew were fascinated by hip-hop, comedy, and food. After graduating from college the brothers moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in both stand-up and YouTube. Since then, Fung Brothers have been featured in the New York Times, NPR, the Cooking Channel and Travel Channel. In 2015 they got their own cable TV food-travel show on the FYI Network called “What The Fung?!”, a fresh, multicultural take on food in America.
